About the instructor
On hands firearms training and personal defense education
Ken is the founder and lead instructor of Fundamental Firearms Training LLC, where he is dedicated to helping new and novice shooters develop safe, confident, and responsible firearm skills. With over five years of professional shooting experience and certification as a USCCA Firearms Instructor, Ken brings both technical knowledge and real-world perspective to every course he teaches.
Beyond the range, Ken’s 30 years of management experience have shaped his ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. This experience allows him to recognize how individuals learn, adapt instruction to different learning styles, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
Ken has a genuine passion for teaching and believes that proper firearms education begins with a strong foundation in safe handling, legal responsibility, and practical personal and home defense. His instruction emphasizes clarity, patience, and accountability, ensuring students leave not only more skilled, but better informed and more confident in their responsibilities as firearm owner

Virtual mini classes
$25.00
A unique training approach that that focuses on one personal defense educational aspect at time. These 60 minute classes are totally virtual and great for allowing maximum focus on one area (or brush up skills). In-person course available upon request and include free virtual range session.
